The NCR or National Capital Region has the highest minimum wage in the country. Its minimum wage is Php 570. It is because of the region’s standard of living and level of economic development.

Minimum wage is defined as the minimum amount of remuneration that an employer is required to pay wage earners for the work performed during a given period. It is designed to create a minimum standard of living to protect the health and well-being of employees.

(1) Use the Internet. As an individual who uses the internet almost everyday, sharing information like this can be a way to support our laborers. Posting in social media and reading articles is an example of what you can do.

(2) Encourage people around you. Encouraging people around you to stand up for our workers can help to spread information about them. In this way, many people will realize that we should act, and we should do something.
